The Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week is an annual event showcasing the twin-island nation’s diverse culinary offerings. Spanning 14 days from May 4 to 19, the 2024 Caribbean Foodie event promises to be an exciting celebration of local and international cuisine, with a range of participating restaurants offering special prix fixe menus and discounted packages. Visitors can look forward to sampling traditional dishes and indulging in various activities.
The two-week-long celebration will provide a unique opportunity for visitors to discover new and exciting flavors while also enjoying the fusion of food and art native to Antigua and Barbuda. The local restaurants and international guest chefs will offer a variety of dishes to suit all tastes and dietary requirements, from seafood to vegetarian options. The international talent includes Chef Kareem Roberts, Cookbook author Althea Brown, Chef Angel Barreto, three-time James Beard Foundation Award semifinalist and Food & Wine “Best New Chef” (2021), Chef Shorne Benjamin owner of Fat Fowl Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, Chef Digby Stridiron, native of St. Croix and Washington DC based Sommelier Nadine Brown.
